Last Thursday, CLAR Director Alex Down, ORCF Chair-Elect Lori Roberts, and ORCF Past-Chair Roger Bouma attended an evening with Minister Todd McCarthy in Oshawa. It was an insightful event with a focus on the future of digital security in Ontario. Minister McCarthy spoke to Bill 194 and Ontario’s plan to safeguard digital trust by protecting Ontarians’ data, secure digital infrastructure, and responsibly govern artificial intelligence. It was great to engage with the Minister and we look forward to many more robust conversations in the future!
