The Centre of Clinical Excellence offers Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) to promote brain neuroplasticity and neuronal regeneration. Approved by the FDA, dTMS uses magnetic fields to activate neural networks in the brain to improve symptoms of mental health conditions, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety, PTSD, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. A TMS session involves a series of short magnetic pulses directed to the brain to stimulate nerve cells. The magnetic pulses stimulate area neurons and change the brain circuits' functioning. Most sessions are 20 minutes long, and most patients notice a difference in themselves by the end of the first week. Many patients see a 50-60% decrease in symptoms and have little to no downtime post-treatment, helping them continue their daily lives.
