The City of Camrose is accepting applications for enumerators for the 2025 Municipal Census. The Municipal Census will be held from April 14 – July 15, 2025. For an online census, each dwelling will receive a unique, secure access code (SAC). From April 1 to 13, 2025, Census Enumerators will be required to go door-to-door to deliver these SACs to all dwellings in their assigned areas. Then, from May 5 to June 30, 2025, Census Enumerators will be required to go door-to door to complete in-person interviews with individuals from households who have not completed the census online. Consider applying to become a Census Enumerator if you are: • City of Camrose resident, 18+ years of age. • Physically able to walk in seasonable weather conditions and for long distances. • Available to work flexible hours and complete their assigned area within the specified time periods noted above. • Well organized, self-motivated, friendly, and energetic. • Able to attend mandatory training session(s). • Able to operate an iPad (training provided) and read maps. • Successful candidates will be required to produce a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Police Information Check. Interested applicants may submit a resume or Census Enumerator Application Form by mail or in person to City Hall, or email to census@camrose.ca. Application forms are available at City Hall or online at www.camrose.ca/census. The deadline for applications is February 27, 2025. We appreciate all applications, however only individuals who are considered will be contacted.
