We help libraries leverage technology to move from transaction-based activities to offering transformational services.

About us

We help libraries of all types leverage technology to better enable them to transition from transaction-based activities to community and institutional transformational endeavors. We help libraries deliver highly visible kiosk solutions like NovelBranch our mini-library kiosk used by public libraries for community outreach and by universities/colleges to provide high availability to in-demand collections like Course Reserves. We streamline tasks behind the scenes in scheduling and cataloguing through our BookWhere and PeopleWhere software. We help you manage your PCs with the best PC booking and print management solutions available today. We provide new services like a scanner that not only can replace your expensive copiers and produce digital copies to a variety of output options, but also which translate documents. We can move your check-in activities to self-service with our economical and space saving intelligent return shelves.

  • Your AMH system can have many different types of sort destination receptacles: from traditional bins, to totes for branch transits, to more specialized bins for high value items, to ErgoCarts that have an ergonomic benefit to staff who reshelve. As you'll read in the attached post from our partner Lyngsoe, as "books are sorted, the Ergo Cart can be used as a sorting destination, ensuring as little manual handling as possible. 📚When books are ready for reshelving, the Ergo Cart can be raised to a horizontal position to avoid awkward or straining work positions 📚 With its large casters and ergonomically shaped handlebar, the Ergo Cart is easy to maneuver around the library, even when fully loaded." Ergonomics at the touch of a button 👇🏻 When it comes to library material handling, nothing is as important as ergonomics. Library staff often spend hours every week picking, sorting, and reshelving materials, which can easily put a substantial strain on the body and ultimately lead to repetitive strain injuries. To avoid this and to support overall staff health in the long term, ergonomics should be considered in all tasks of the workday. Fortunately, products such as the Lyngsoe Ergo Cart™ can assist in easing the workload for staff: 📚As books are sorted, the Ergo Cart can be used as a sorting destination, ensuring as little manual handling as possible. 📚When books are ready for reshelving, the Ergo Cart can be raised to a horizontal position to avoid awkward or straining work positions 📚 With its large casters and ergonomically shaped handlebar, the Ergo Cart is easy to maneuver around the library, even when fully loaded. Curious to know more about the Lyngsoe Ergo Cart™ and how it can help optimize your material transportation tasks? • It's been a busy #OLASC. Thank you to all who came by the booth to learn more about what we do and all that we offer. At the show this year we announced a new partnership with Solus to bring top notch software to Canadian libraries to facilitate engagement with their customers, as well as to improve staff workflow. We highlighted on booth a number of installations including our recent AMH (sorter) installation at Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library which was featured in a video. We also showed one of the most liked videos from our social media that of Allison's young boys demo'ing how to use NovelBranch! Again, thank you to all who came by to talk with the team; we really appreciated seeing you and meeting some of you for the first time!
