    Congratulations to Kids Can Press and their charming book Little Shrew for its recent award win – Best Illustrated Children’s Book, presented by The New York Times and The New York Public Library.  The runaway bestseller, written and illustrated by Akiko Miyakoshi, is the only book from a Canadian publisher to make the 2024 list of 10 winners! Little Shrew has also received starred reviews from Kirkus, The Horn Book, and Publishers Weekly, and has been named Best Book of the Year by Publishers Weekly, Indigo and Chicago Public Library, among others.
