Monitor crops for pest and disease in real-time with IoT sensors and AI analytics using CropVue's sustainable solutions.
About us
CropVue Technologies designs and manufactures wireless sensors for the agricultural industry to monitor and analyze pest and disease data in crops so growers can reduce costs and improve yields. Each sensor contains a wireless 5G transmitter operating on solar power to upload field measurements into the cloud for analysis. Sensors measure temperature, humidity, pest counts using specialized traps and lures, leaf and soil moisture, wind speed and direction, rain fall, dew point and so on. Data is collected every 15 minutes and uploaded into cloud storage that triggers AI algorithms. When a variety of conditions arise that interest growers, notifications are sent out to smartphones for action in the fields to ensure optimal crop outcomes. CropVue Technologies is run by sensor and cloud specialists with over 30 years building technology that works in challenging environments in a variety of industries. We understand the need to make technology simple to use, dependable, low cost, and accurate so growers can rapidly adopt the benefits of precision farming.

As someone who spent summers in the fields as a pest scout, I’ve witnessed firsthand the labor-intensive process of monitoring pest populations. Walking rows, inspecting traps, and gathering data was essential work, but it was far from efficient. Fast forward to today, and the advancements in automation and AI have transformed how we approach pest management. In my latest article, I explore how autonomous pest monitoring technologies are revolutionizing agriculture, providing growers with real-time insights to make smarter, more sustainable decisions. These innovations aren't just about efficiency—they're about rethinking how we protect crops and optimize farm operations. If you’re curious about the future of agriculture and technology's role in shaping it, I invite you to read and share your thoughts! 🐛 Maxence Guillaumot Patrick Honcoop Rhishi P. H2A is a program that supports growers unable to find enough domestic labor for their operations. Automated delta traps for pest detection can significantly alleviate farm labor concerns by reducing the manual effort needed for pest monitoring. Our smart traps continuously collect daily data, allowing farmers to detect pest outbreaks early and accurately without relying heavily on seasonal labor, that may not come in time to collect key data, like biofix. By complementing initiatives like the H2A visa program, these automated solutions help fill labor gaps, optimize workforce efficiency, and ensure timely pest management, ultimately protecting crop yields and reducing labor costs. https://lnkd.in/gB6Bx_fs #farmlabor #digitalag #H2A

Digital pest monitoring allows a better understanding of pest pressure and quicker response to limit damage. It's amazing to see the yearly variability that can occur in the same fields.
#agrosummit #tecnologia #agronegocio #tecnologiaagricola #agrobusiness #inovacao #inovacao #agrobusiness #digitalizaodoagronegocio
