The District of Central Saanich is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 Local Government Internship Program. This valuable and respected program offers new and recent post-secondary graduates a unique opportunity to launch their careers in local government. The internship, which spans 12 months, allows participants to gain hands-on experience, work under the mentorship of senior local government professionals, and develop the skills and competencies needed for a successful career in local government. Interns will engage in various activities, including policy development, management, operations, and administration. Highlights of the Internship Program: Gain comprehensive understanding of local government operations. Work closely with a senior local government professional, benefiting from their expertise and guidance.
