Last Friday, our team attended the Burnaby Board of Trade Christmas Luncheon, an event we were delighted to be part of. It was a true pleasure to celebrate with amazing people while supporting a meaningful cause: raising funds to support families and their children in having a happier Christmas. Of course, we couldn’t miss the fun of the fierce yet friendly gingerbread house competition! With so much talent in the room and beautifully crafted houses, it was almost impossible to pick a favourite. Naturally, ours was inspired by the most anticipated event of the year!

This dedicated group, led by our awesome Housekeeping Leaders Arlyn, Perla, and Gurj, puts incessant efforts to keep our property tidy, safe, and pleasant. Engaging events such as Donuts + Chai Day, Power of Clean Day, AES Celebration Day, and Room Cleaning with our leaders, along with afternoon breaks hosted by Atlas and heartfelt recognition with certificates. Every day was an honour to this incredible group of people that keep our offices, public spaces, and rooms spotless and comfortable. We are very grateful to our incredible team for their daily fantastic work and unwavering commitment; you all truly inspire us with your dedication!

Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre is excited to celebrate National Root Beer Float Day on Thursday, August 15th, from 1:00PM to 5:30 PM, as we raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. The tradition began with J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott, who started a 9-seat A&W Root Beer stand in Washington, D.C., to escape the summer heat. In honor of this heritage, Marriott properties will be hosting Root Beer Float socials throughout August.
