With DiveThru's mission of ensuring no one struggles alone in mind, we started our Reduced Rate Therapy program last year. The program quickly filled so we’ve been exploring ways we can expand our impact to support more individuals. I’m happy to share that we have expanded the capacity of the program and simplified the process to ensure more people can access therapy, regardless of their financial situation. You can submit your application within minutes and get started as early as this week! Starting therapy can be hard. And finding accessible therapy is even harder. I'm thrilled to announce that we're opening our third DiveThru location in the heart of Windermere! When I first began my own mental health journey, I had countless questions. I didn’t know how to find a therapist, what the different credentials meant, or what to expect from therapy. After all the effort it took to find support, I found the experience too clinical and impersonal. More than anything, I felt ashamed for struggling and needing help. That’s why I started DiveThru—to make the therapy journey easier, to create a warm and welcoming space, and to build a world where no one has to struggle alone or feel ashamed for seeking support. What a night of community and connection! ✨ 🙌 Last Friday, we had a fantastic night hosting a Therapist Networking Event for our mental health professional community! Our goal for this event was to bridge the gaps of isolation often felt in our field and provide a space for meaningful connections, collaboration, and professional growth. It was so great to see many dedicated individuals—Registered Psychologists, Registered Provisional Psychologists, Registered Social Workers, Canadian Certified Counsellors, and more—come together to support and engage with each other. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event memorable! We’re also grateful to the DiveThru Team, Dr. Lily Le, Cassandra Bishay, and Megan Malo for their incredible work in organizing it. A special thanks to local psychologists and authors, Tara Boothby and Nicole Perry for generously donating books for our giveaway baskets and to Kind Ice Cream for providing free scoop cards for our guests! Our DiveThru values are the heart of who we are. We’ve been having a lot of discussions around how to bring them to life and consistently reflect our values in everything we do. One key value is Community Care. We know the positive impact a strong community can have, and we want to support the areas we serve beyond the therapy room. To put Community Care into action, we’ve recently launched our Community Impact Program - a paid initiative designed to allow for our employees to volunteer quarterly with nonprofits and charities doing amazing work in the community. The benefits are obvious: our communities get support, and our employees gain fulfillment and connection.
