Meet Jeremy Elliott, CPA, Supervisor and proud member of the DMCL Movember Team! 👨 Jeremy was instrumental in helping us beat our fundraising goal last year after he organized and hosted our first fundraising auction. We asked Jeremy why he’s taking part in the Mo’vement again this year: “Movember, for me, is about raising awareness for men’s health issues that are often ignored. Too often, men don’t seek help for their mental or physical health until it’s too late. That’s why I love Movember—it takes something as lighthearted as growing a moustache and uses it to spark conversations that go deeper than just banter. These conversations can lead to real support for those struggling. If we dig a little deeper, we can help prevent more men from reaching a crisis point.” When it comes to moustaches, Jeremy says his favourite belongs to Coach Ted Lasso (and he’s even visited one of the pubs featured in the show 🍻). As for inspiration, he gives a nod to his soccer coach, Dave—a role model he can always count on for meaningful conversations and support.
