Thank you to everyone who joined us today for our final 2024 eLeaderHUB live webinar on the topic of INFLUENCE!   We were fortunate to be joined by eLeadership Academy’s CEO and Founder, Sandra McDowell, webinar co-host and CU Broadcast host Mike Lawson, and HMECU CEO, Rhonda Taylor, MA (Leadership), CFP, CIWM, RIS, RRC, AICB. Together, we explored what it means to be a leader that others want to follow.   Here are some of the fantastic takeaways from today’s session: - Reflect: Are you a leader people want to follow or one they have to follow? - Create a safe space where others feel confident following your lead. - The behaviour you walk by is the behaviour you condone. - Culture is shaped by what you reward, model, and tolerate. - Build trust by creating conditions where it can be seen and heard. Walk the walk, talk the talk. - When you think you’ve communicated enough, communicate one more time. - Trust is critical for influence. Low trust puts people on guard. - Get to know your team.
