Recently two of our Land Surveyors in Training had a great chance to go on a remote adventure near Boston Bar! Some of their challenges: 1.) Long drive from the lower mainland, meant efficiency on site was critical. 2.) Search for older legal survey evidence, some that had not been located since the early 1900's! 3.)Setting up a base and rover so we could tie in needed evidence and survey control. So glad to say its been an amazing 4 years at Elevate Land Surveying! Often business owners recognize these anniversaries by reflecting on some financial or project milestones. I've measured milestones by some of the colleagues I've had the pleasure of working with. Harjeev Sandhu-My first hire in the summer of 2020 when he was a summer student. Now working as a junior crew chief for us and a LSIT(Land surveyor in Training). Haravtar Singh-Came to me in Fall of 2020 as a survey assistant. Quicky progressing to a competent crew chief. Satbir Dhami-Came to us in November 2020 because he wanted to commute less. Progressing from senior tech. to project manager and now a BCLS. Harinder Sharma-Joined in early 2021. Our company workhorse and one of our senior crew chiefs. Nick Nootebos-Joined us in spring of 2021 as a survey assistant. Progressing to a crew chief, drone pilot, and LSIT(Land surveyor in Training). Anand Krishna-Joined us in summer 2021, wanting to work from home with two young kids. He's our night owl and cad tech. specialist, getting those last minute plans drafted. Tyler Case-Joined us in fall of 2021, he was a senior survey field tech., but wanted more office experience. Progressing from senior crew chief to senior CAD technician to now a project manager and BCLS. And the list is growing, with some more members joining us in the past two years, eager to make their mark.
