We are rolling out our Human Factors Canada Network! Our goal is to contribute to enhancing safety, human performance and system efficiencies amidst evolving work systems and technological advancements in high reliability organizations. The HFC network looks to develop a shared platform for industry stakeholders, policy makers, academics and researchers in the Canadian and international offshore energy, maritime and other high-risk industries in order to learn and discuss key Human Factors and safety issues affecting your work, facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer, and drive investment in research and development. Our first planned seminar will be in Fall 2024, following a biannual schedule thereafter (i.e. each spring and fall) Events will be free and all are welcome to be involved (including both national and international participants). Sign-up here to stay in the loop and receive updates of the network’s events and information: https://lnkd.in/eAsBrdTb #humanfactors #safety #highrelibilityorganizations #maritime #maritime #energy #oilandgas #digitalization #automation #offshore #ergonomics #sociotechnicalsystems
