The Scramble. This video was produced for Energy Safety Canada and acts as a case study to provide leaders with the tools and insights to improve workplace safety and operational efficiency. Through this real-world example featuring Imperial Oil workers, the video demonstrates innovative problem-solving using the 4Ds framework. The 4Ds approach—Dumb, Dangerous, Difficult, Different—is a practical framework for identifying and mitigating workplace hazards. This method from Learning Teams Inc focuses on recognizing operational weak signals and underscores the importance of learning from everyday work to foster safer and more effective work environments. This was a fantastic project to work on and we were so fortunate to work with so many great teams while bringing it to life. Special thanks to Odunlami A Adeogun, MBA, MSc, CSP with ESC, Taylor Hewlett, Michael Bathgate & Stephanie Jeffries with Imperial Kearl and Brent Sutton & Jeffery Lyth from Learning Teams for their guidance on how to accurately bring the 4D's framework to life. Production71 can bring your key messaging to life with projects tailored for your organization.
