On Dec 6th, 1917, two ships collided in the Halifax harbour. The resulting explosion devastated the city, killing nearly 2,000 and injuring 9,000. The City of Boston immediately sent aid, including medical personnel and supplies. This act of kindness forged an enduring bond between the cities. Halifax continues to offer thanks every year by delivering a Christmas tree to the city of Boston. Although born of tragedy, this compassionate and fruitful relationship with New England is cherished by every Nova Scotian. Halifax Regional Municipality #HalifaxExplosion

The Dull, the Dirty and the Dangerous. “It’s 2024! Why am I still paying so much in WCB premiums?” Employers pay WCB Insurance for 4 main reasons: 1. They care about their employees. 2. It provides financial and medical benefits to workers injured on the job. 3. They don’t want to get sued. 4. It’s the law. Explore how automation is changing WCB rates here: https://lnkd.in/ehf7ExrJ #manufacturing #IndustrialSafety #WorkerSafety
