Yesterday, we participated in an insightful Cooperate to Win training session, skillfully led by Melanie St. Andrews focused on fostering collaborative, interest-based relationship between Entrust Disability Services and CLAC. I’ve always aspired to work in a unionized environment to challenge the stereotype of employer-union adversarial dynamics. Our inscope frontline Entrusters are the foundation of our success and it is clear that both Entrust and CLAC share a commitment to prioritizing their best interests. Advocating for our Entrusters is made easier with an ethical, caring executive team that truly values Entrusters’ contributions. I deeply appreciate the collaborative efforts of the CLAC team led by Robyn Haarsma, Katherine Ziolecki, and Tenille Kowalchuk. The past two weeks were a perfect blend of celebration, strategic planning, and connection. From our corporate holiday party—complete with karaoke, casino games, and fantastic food—to setting clear priorities for 2025, it has been a couple of weeks to remember. We are focused on four bold strategic initiatives that will elevate the Entrust brand and redefine the employee experience. One highlight is the creation of the #EntrustAcademy—a transformational learning journey that will empower growth at every level of our organization. With cutting-edge technology and a strong commitment to intentional brand development, we are paving the way to becoming an #EmployerOfChoice. My incredible People & Culture team (all 13 of us) also had our own festive gathering, exchanging gifts, sharing laughter, and aligning around our critical role in driving impactful goals for the year ahead.
