The past two weeks were a perfect blend of celebration, strategic planning, and connection. From our corporate holiday party—complete with karaoke, casino games, and fantastic food—to setting clear priorities for 2025, it has been a couple of weeks to remember. We are focused on four bold strategic initiatives that will elevate the Entrust brand and redefine the employee experience. One highlight is the creation of the #EntrustAcademy—a transformational learning journey that will empower growth at every level of our organization. With cutting-edge technology and a strong commitment to intentional brand development, we are paving the way to becoming an #EmployerOfChoice. My incredible People & Culture team (all 13 of us) also had our own festive gathering, exchanging gifts, sharing laughter, and aligning around our critical role in driving impactful goals for the year ahead. December 3 is #InternationalDayofPersonswithDisabilities (IDPD). Every day, we celebrate our community's diversity and acknowledge the roles and achievements of every individual, regardless of their abilities. We also want to shed light on the fact that not all disabilities are physical or visible. Invisible disabilities exist such as learning disabilities, mental impairments and disorders, autism, and the list goes on. It's time to shatter the misconception that all disabilities can be seen and recognize that everyone's struggles are unique. Had a good time at NorQuest College yesterday celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities #IDPD. It was great to see the innovative projects and thoughtful work of NorQuest students. I value our potential strategic partnership with a progressive college such as NorQuest, a leader in diversity and inclusion, offering unique programs such as the Disability Studies Diploma and Community Support Worker Certificate. I am looking forward to start providing hands-on practicums, Work-Integrated Learning opportunities, and pathways to permanent employment to NorQuest students at Entrust Disability Services.
