While EXFO's iOLM doesn't have a custom pictogram for rodent damage (at least not yet 😅), you can look out for a shorter than expected link span with a high reflectance value at the link end (open). In #OTDR readings, also look out for shorter spans and the high reflectance peak at the end, as the fiber ends with an open. Bien que l'iOLM d'EXFO ne dispose pas d'un pictogramme personnalisé pour les dommages causés par les rongeurs (du moins pas encore 😅), vous pouvez être attentif à une portée de liaison plus courte que prévu avec une forte valeur de réflectance à l'extrémité de la liaison (ouverte). Dans les relevés #OTDR, observez également une portée plus courte et le pic de réflectance élevé à l'extrémité, car la fibre se termine par une ouverture.
