From helping with booking appointments to welcoming clients at reception, our volunteers are an essential part of our frontline operations. Since its launch in 2021, Gateway has grown from a small pilot to an extensive network of 92 partners, collectively providing over 2,000 free services to immigrants and newcomers in Calgary.   At the heart of this success is Gateway’s unique multistakeholder collaboration model, connecting newcomers with tailored services while fostering real-time feedback and continuous improvement.   In November, we hosted our Gateway Partner Networking event, bringing together 40 partner agencies and Gateway team members to celebrate our shared achievements and brainstorm innovative ways to enhance collaboration.   Read more about Gateway’s impact and the future of this transformative model in our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/gBhSvu8A   #SupportingNewcomers #CommunityImpact #NewcomerSuccess

On December 5th from 10 AM to 3 PM, we are excited to host our partner AIMGA - Alberta International Medical Graduate Association’s multilingual Health Hub team at the Gateway Building (main floor & 14th floor)!   💉The Health Hub team will provide information and resources about flu prevention, vaccines, COVID boosters and other essential healthcare resources! Languages of support that will be available: Arabic, Amharic, Tigrinya, Spanish, Dari/Pashto, Urdu, Swahili/ Kinyarwanda, Russian/Ukrainian.   This pop-up booth is open to everyone!
