Challenger Geomatics is coming to campus to host an info session on Tuesday, November 26 at 5 pm in ENE 131. Challenger is a larger, employee-owned, survey company that provides solutions to a variety of different industries. What makes Challenger unique is they have many projects and offices in the Canadian territories (Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories) They are looking for all years of students! Stop by the info session to grab some food and learn more about the opportunities they have! Registration is not required.

Naman Agarwal Title: Application of Adaptive Kalman Filtering on Smartphone Positioning Biography: Naman Agarwal is a PhD student in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. He works in the PLAN lab under the supervision of Dr. Kyle O'Keefe. His main research area is "Precise Smartphone Positioning".

Focusing primarily on remote sensing, we own and operate 3 aircraft and their respective LiDAR and camera sensors. Using the data from these sensors, we generate geomatics engineering solutions for our clients and work with them to meet their needs. We are proud to be a registered engineering company with APEGA since 2011 and are also majority female owned.” They are looking for internship students!
