This is your sign to recycle your plastic bags ♻️ This community group in South Side Chicago meets every Wednesday to turn plastic bags into sleeping mats for those in need. The project is a great way to make use of plastic bags which would otherwise end up in landfills.

A little love goes a long way! In 2016, members of The North Grove, Dartmouth, chose to bring a community farm to life. Today's inspiration comes from Ottawa, where 85 year old Betty Hope-Gittens is taking on the challenge of walking across PEI to raise funds for Ottawa Mission. She's taking to the streets in memory of her son Simon, who passed away in February 2024. The challenge will take her 35 days to complete and during this time, she'll be walking 20-25 miles a day to cover a grand total of 700km!
