Due to the ongoing mail strike, we are looking for community newsletters to be delivered door-to-door in multiple communities in Calgary and surrounding areas. Payment is $0.10 per household; household numbers vary per community. Contact news@mycalgary.com today to find out more! Here’s How It Works: 1. Pick-Up: Collect newsletters from Great News Media’s print shop (4550 112 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2K2). 2. Delivery: Distribute newsletters to as many households in the community you are delivering to as possible. (Note: Some areas, like apartments and condos, may have restricted access.) Email a screenshot of the tracking map to Great News Media for employee(s) to verify once delivery is completed. 3. Return: Drop off bins back at the Great News Media print shop. We are open from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm so bins must be picked up and returned within this timeframe. *Does not need to be same day. 4. Payment: Receive your e-transfer within a few hours of completing delivery and returning the bins. *To ensure the accuracy and completion of delivery to all homes within the specified route(s), we require a geotracking app to be installed on a working smartphone for the duration of the delivery process. This will be used to verify the completion of the route to receive payment. *A vehicle is required for this position. Newsletters are in Canada Post bins; each Canada Post bin is roughly the size of a large printer, approximately 50 lbs.
