In true recognition fashion, we want to say thank you. There are endless streams of people I could tag, partners, webinar collabs, podcast guests, in the hopes of getting this post some attention... But the truth is, we couldn't do any of it without the hardworking Guustonians behind the scenes. So thank you - to each and every Guusto member, past and present, for helping to make this another great year! And an even bigger shoutout to our support and finance teams, who will be working over the holidays to ensure everyone is able to receive their gifts with ease.

Don't let people start their holiday break feeling disappointed. We know that the postal strike may lead to some gifts not arriving on time this year, but don't let your team be the ones with nothing under the tree. With Guusto you can send instant, meaningful gifts, with no shipping required. And with over 60,000 merchants to choose from, everyone will be able to get something they really want.

⭐ Shoutout Alert! ⭐ We know the importance of giving credit where it’s due and showing people how valued both they and their work are. But we thought we’d take a different approach and offer recognition to some of the frontline companies who are really going above and beyond to build a culture of appreciation! We know how hard you work to make your employees feel valued, and we think that deserves some serious recognition too! Barry-Wehmiller and their CEO, Bob Chapman have shown real dedication to ensuring their team members feel seen and we think their programs speak for themselves! So here’s to you, making the workplace a better, happier, more appreciated place to be. 🥂

Are we showing frontline workers that their full or part time role could be the beginnings of a rewarding career? Are we doing that during the interview process...? We sat down with Thad Price, CEO at Talroo to chat about reinventing job advertisements for frontline and essential workers. Listen to the whole episode here: https://lnkd.in/gawiW3vn

Corporate gifts for employees don’t always have to be a physical item. It might make a nice change of pace to give employees experience-based gifts, where they and their loved ones can create fond memories over an afternoon or evening. (Pro tip: While we’ll admit we’re a bit biased, we’d definitely recommend getting employees gift cards for experiences rather than giving them tickets for a set event at a set time, as it may not fit into their schedule. A gift card gives them the option to redeem their gift at a time that will suit them.)

For many companies, the end of the year is awards season! A time to roll out the red carpet and celebrate some of your achievements, as well as the employees who helped make them happen. However, one problem with these ceremonies is what the awards themselves are given for. Many companies tend to focus purely on recognizing performance, offering prizes for the top salesperson, perfect attendance, and other tangible achievements. At Guusto, we’re big believers in using recognition as a tool to reinforce your core values and shape your company culture, and an end-of-year awards show is a great chance to do that.
