Winter is coming and it’s important to prevent any vents from freezing up. The four most common causes of leaking vents are: ➡️ Lack of vent maintenance ➡️ Set pressure too close to tank operating pressure ➡️ Inappropriate application, and ➡️ Improper reseating and poor manufacturing tolerances leading to sealing issues. Prevent leaking vents with the Series 4000 Marsh Hawk, a deep-set thief hatch where the seals sits inside of the tank, allowing latent heat from the tank to keep the seals ice-free.
