Nova Scotia faces some of the highest rates of chronic disease and disability in Canada, putting strain on families and our healthcare system. The Healthy Tomorrow Foundation is working to change that by providing programs that help Nova Scotians build healthy habits at every age, reducing the impact of preventable diseases. This #GivingTuesday, your support can make a real difference, helping us create a province where everyone has the tools they need to lead healthier, more active lives. Join us in building a healthier tomorrow—please donate today.

Today we joined the Physical Activity Practitioners Exchange (PAPE) meeting, hosted by the Government of Nova Scotia's Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism, and Heritage. These gatherings, held a couple of times a year, bring together physical activity leaders from across the province to share knowledge, network, and strengthen their skills—all with the goal of getting more Nova Scotians moving more. Tara Taylor, our incredible Movement Ambassador, led an energizing movement break to show how small bursts of activity can re-energize you, and Michelle Lincoln, our health promotion advisor, shared valuable insights about our Make Your Move at Work program. Our team is equipping practitioners with tools and strategies to help organizations in their communities create movement-friendly workplaces.
