We've been watching users all across the world taking awesome images all summer long with the Celestron Origin, and people just love it! Hectiq AI team designed and developed the AI-based imaging pipeline powering the telescope. Last week, Hectiq AI was invited to give a talk at the NEAIC conference in New York to present the AI-based imaging technology that we have developed for our client, Celestron. After years of effort, it was so much fun to share the results of our work with this audience. During this technical talk, we took a deep dive into the details of the various AI models that power the Celestron Origin imaging pipeline. We also had a great opportunity to receive some real feedback from the community. Shipping hardware is hard! Working with Celestron provided a unique opportunity for us to showcase how we can deploy AI technology in a practical, product-oriented environment. Our AI technology at CES 2024 ! Celestron just unveiled their brand new product at CES 2024. The Celestron Origin, their most technologically advanced astronomical offering yet, is a high end AI-based fully automated telescope. Hectiq AI is extremely proud to have worked alongside Celestron on this project. Years into the making, the Hectiq AI team put their heart and soul into this project to ensure the Celestron Origin would have the absolute best AI technology out there, and the result shows: the images from the Celestron Origin are simply amazing. We worked closely with Celestron to extract the most of it and integrate it at the core of their new product.
