Did you know renovating your home could increase risk of radon in your home? Any structural changes that affect airflow patterns, increasing energy efficiency which seals your home (where radon may have been escaping the building envelope before), and renovating basements all have potential to increase risk of radon in your home. Thank you to everyone who attended our Innovation & Best Practices in Home Construction event on November 8! We’re grateful to have been able to pilot this event in the Niagara and Hamilton region with an abundance of technical expertise from our panelists.
