Intelcan Technosystems Inc. completes delivery of DME’s to LFV Intelcan is very proud to announce that we have successfully delivered two DME’s to Sweden’s Luftfartsverket (LFV). This announcement comes following a competitive bid process where Intelcan was selected to enter a framework agreement with LFV to supply DME’s to Sweden on an annual basis. As part of this framework agreement, LFV is planning to purchase 3-4 DME’s per year to support the country’s NAVAID Infrastructure. Intelcan Technosystems Inc. Announces completion of SAT at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana. We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for the upgrade of the Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Guyana! This major milestone ensures the airport meets ICAO and WMO CAT II requirements, enhancing its operational capabilities. From 2019-2020, Intelcan installed and certified a CAT II ILS/DME for Runway 06, significantly improving landing capabilities and eliminating the need for a displaced threshold due to the antenna technology selected. Intelcan COO David Calleja highlights, “This improvement will significantly increase the operational capacity of Cheddi Jagan International Airport. Intelcan Technosystems Inc. reaches a framework agreement to supply DMEs to NAV CANADA Intelcan Technosystems Inc. (Intelcan), an industry leader in Navigation Aid (NAVAID) technology, is proud to announce that after an extensive tendering process and negotiation, a framework agreement has been reached with NAV CANADA to be the exclusive supplier of Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) as part of their NAVAID modernization strategy. In the short-term, Intelcan will supply a preliminary set of DME for testing and deployment. Upon successful testing, a phased approach will then see Intelcan replace all DMEs across the country with new systems. In total, it is expected that 170+ DME will be replaced over the next 10 years. “We could not be prouder to be providing NAV CANADA with our SKYNAV DME, designed and developed using the latest technology right here in Canada. Intelcan has passed both the Site Acceptance Test and Flight Check for the ILS/DME Cat. IIIB systems installed on both ends of the newly constructed 3rd runway. Intelcan’s SkyNav ILS/DMEs are setting new standards in precision navigation technologies. · Intelcan has now commissioned 6 SkyNav ILS/DMEs and 2 DVOR/DMEs at KIA, representing all the navigation aids in and for operational use in Kuwait · Not only are these 2 ILS/DMEs rated for Cat. IIIB, they also include Intelcan’s exclusive Wide-Aperture Localizer Antenna Arrays. Each localizer has an industry leading 34-element antennas producing the narrowest beam, reducing critical areas, and increasing airport capacity. · Our dedicated team of experts have exceeded expectations and brilliantly overcame all the challenges of implementing navigation system in a dynamic and developing airport like KIA.
