📢 Passive internal communication isn’t only unengaging—it’s ineffective. A world where everybody learns and understands your message automatically does not exist. But by directing and supporting that flow of water, you’ll be partaking in more active communication and building goodwill. 🔍 Here's the difference: ✋ Passive communication - Often reactionary, employees hear messages from other sources before official announcements, and does not effectively correct misinformation. ✅ Active communication - Announcements are sent internally before they are announced publicly, building goodwill and quelling rumours before they even start. Moving to active communication aligns communication strategy with organizational strategy. While it won't happen overnight, just remember that the most important piece here is that employees come first. Supporting them and making them feel valued and reassured will pay off exponentially.
