As 2025 begins, we at InventoRR MD wanted to highlight some of last year's best achievements and say thank you to all who have helped support AbClo along this incredible journey. Shifting a paradigm in open abdomen care is no easy task, especially with a small team! But support from investors, physicians and valued hospital staff has continued to enhance our growth and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks to all of you, it’s only a matter of time before AbClo is the standard of care for all open abdomens! #AbClo #InventoRRMD #AbdominalSurgery #AbdominalFascia #Surgery #TraumaSurgery #MedicalDevice

AbClo is an FDA–and Health Canada–licensed device that manages and promotes the closure of open abdomens non-invasively. Here’s what Tasha Osborne Senior Clinical Program Director at St Michael's Hospital had to say about the AbClo; “We saw positive patient impacts almost immediately once we began using the AbClo. In addition, we save considerable hard and soft costs and our physicians enjoyed using the AbClo device. Using the AbClo is not only improving our patient care but freeing up significant resources when we need them the most.” Learn more here: https://bit.ly/4feDAW4 #AbClo #InventoRRMD #AbdominalSurgery #AbdominalFascia #Surgery #TraumaSurgery #MedicalDevice

In 2022, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) released guidelines on open abdomen management. The findings? Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) AND external traction gave the best outcomes for patients when used in tandem. AbClo is 100% compatible with NPWT dressing, AbThera, and is the only external traction device compatible with NPWT via its non-invasive action. When a patient requires open abdomen treatment, facilitating early aggressive closure without increasing complications is crucial. That’s where AbClo comes in. Here’s what Andrew Beckett, Lieutenant Colonel Canadian Armed Forces, Trauma Surgeon and Director of Trauma at St. Michael’s Hospital had to say about our device: “AbClo dramatically improved our closure rate for open abdomen patients. It was easy to use and was easily integrated into my current treatment methods for open abdomen patients. AbClo’s use resulted in better outcomes for my patients.” Learn more here: https://bit.ly/4feDAW4 #AbClo #InventoRRMD #AbdominalSurgery #AbdominalFascia #Surgery #TraumaSurgery #MedicalDevice

It's always great to read meaningful discourse aimed at advancing open abdomen care. This week, this comes from Dr. Mejia Morales and Dr. Hampton from The University of Chicago with their thought-provoking commentary regarding open abdomen care. “Do Not Fear the Open Abdomen” highlights the historical significance open abdomens provide as a surgical care option and the relevant issues we still face today, including; the lack of standardized care options with high success rates for fascial traction. AbClo is a tool that helps surgeons deal with the challenges posed by the open abdomen. AbClo non-invasively reapproximates the fascial gap and preserves fascial integrity. This allows surgeons to adopt a preventative approach, preventing lateralization of the abdominal wall muscles and facilitating easy re-exploration of the abdominal cavity. What does this mean for open abdomen care? With regulated, reproducible and non-invasive fascial reapproximation now available with AbClo, physicians no longer have to fear the open abdomen. https://bit.ly/3YVI90H #AbClo #InventoRRMD #AbdominalSurgery #AbdominalFascia #Surgery #TraumaSurgery #MedicalDevice
