Proxies Big Red comes out as a winner! Congratulations to Charlie Friedmann and his team for such dedication to making non-alc wines better every day. https://lnkd.in/eFHExCR4
This was one of the most fun and interesting things we've ever done with Proxies. A couple of weeks ago, we set up shop at one of Chicago's best wine bars and asked customers to blind-taste three red wines. Or did we? Unbeknownst to them, we pitted our new non-alc Big Red up against two serious wines: The Prisoner Cabernet and a great Aglianico the bar was pouring by the glass. When I said we wanted to make a non-alc red you actually want to drink, I wasn't kidding. So watch for yourself and see what happened. And stay tuned for more clips, and even more improvements to this game-changing red in the weeks to come. Oh, and because Roman Sydorenko reminded me that people often don't realize they can join what we're building, we do have some limited space left for additional investment in our current round. So if you want to help redefine the future of non-alc wine, hit me up!

The InvestEco semi-annual retreat took place in Thornbury last week, where our team participated in a pipeline exercise. We enjoyed dinner at the Bruce Wine Bar, where Stephen Couchman taught us more about the local trail system and chef Shaun Edmonstone about the benefits of cooking with local, fresh and sustainably produced ingredients. Our team hiked through Hurricane Beryl along the Bruce Trail and ended each day with a jump off the pier. Thanks to everyone involved in making this offsite a productive and rewarding experience.
