We want to say a massive thank you to our incredible leaders that have taken time out of their week since February 2023 to come down to @donnellansirishpub to give something back to their community by sharing their stories, advice, and knowledge with newcomers to the city. New & Not So New in Vancouver was set up to provide people with the opportunity to make friends, secure jobs, and find accommodation. With more newcomers than ever before, we wanted to organize a safe space for people to come and socialize while also gaining valuable information to help make the transition a little easier. We couldn't do it without our wonderful leaders that are either from Vancouver or have moved here some years ago. Your support has made a tremendous impact on the hundreds of individuals we have seen at New & Not So New since we started almost 2 years ago. Also thank you to all of the newcomers that have attended, you are the reason we run this event and we will continue to welcome you back each month so you can meet new people and build a great life here in Vancouver. Although we won't have our regular event on December 25th, we will have an unofficial New & Not So New event on December 17th from 5pm so we hope to see many of you there. We will be back with our regular events on January 29th.
