Jetson by Modine is excited to announce that it has received authorization to mark its entire air-cooled chiller and heat pump line (ACCS, ACCM, ACCR, and ACCU) in compliance with both UL 60335 and CSA C22.2#60335 standards for R-454B refrigerant. This proactive initiative was undertaken to stay ahead of upcoming regulations set to take effect on January 1, 2025. From that date forward, all new products and modifications must be certified under UL 60335 for new construction. Additionally, any equipment using A2L refrigerants, such as R-454B, will be required to meet UL 60335 certification exclusively. This strategic move ensures that Jetson by Modine remains compliant with evolving standards while continuing to lead in safety and innovation. Earlier this week the J&S sales team was on site to support our partners with ensuring this fully custom Air Wise Sales Inc air handling unit enjoyed a smooth lift to its new home.
