We love partnering with Eden Café by creatively supporting their incredible mission to make our city a better place. As a social enterprise, Eden provides meaningful job opportunities for individuals who might otherwise be left out of the workforce due to past struggles with addiction or lack of experience. Their impact extends beyond the café through the Eden DTES program, which runs multiple outreach initiatives in the Downtown Eastside. These programs create spaces to connect with marginalized individuals, local residents, and those who deserve a second chance. Have you visited Eden Café yet? Are you looking for the perfect last-minute Christmas gift for a coffee lover in your life? We have the perfect gift idea! We love collaborating with the Eden Café and Coastal Church to create merch that embraces minimalism while making the branding elements easy to identify. The logo also keeps the organic details that embrace the brand's mission. For the coffee packaging, we tied aspects of the garden mural, bringing the vision of collaboration, cross-pollination, and diversity to the packaging. All of these items are available at Eden Café for purchase, and the proceeds help continue to foster community in the Downtown Eastside!

This Christmas season, we want to shine a light on Eden Café, a social enterprise in the heart of the Downtown Eastside that’s doing incredible work to transform lives and foster community. Over the years, we’ve been privileged to partner with Eden Café, contributing to their mission of giving back and creating a space of hope. Eden Café is more than just a café—it’s a place of renewal. By creating job opportunities for those facing barriers to employment, such as struggles with addiction or lack of experience, they offer a second chance to many. Their intentionally welcoming space is designed to cultivate belonging and connection, reflecting the power of community. This project is especially close to our hearts, as we’ve had the honour of designing the branding for this meaningful space. Inspired by the mission of the café and Ezekiel 36:35— “And they shall say, this land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden”— in collaboration with Coastal Church, we crafted a brand that celebrates transformation, rebirth, and the flourishing beauty that emerges from resilience and connection.
