We're super excited to be launching a new series called "Kenorah Homes", where Kenorah clients tour us through their beautiful homes. The first episode is a fun one! Glenn and Annette hired us to design and build their home renovation/rebuild, and once that was done, we built their stunning garage as well. We hope you enjoy this home tour!
About us
Kenorah has been serving BC since 1980, offering an integrated Design/Build process for Home Renovations, Custom Home construction and Commercial Interiors, with each project backed by a Fixed Price + Schedule Commitment. We've been the recipient of dozens of industry awards, ranging from National (SAM) Awards to Provincial (Georgie) Awards, as well as Regional GVHBA (Ovation) Awards. More importantly than any of this is our enjoyment of working with home and business owners to guide them through their projects, and transform what could be a stressful, confusing project into an enjoyable, rewarding and gratifying journey. While Kenorah has been around for nearly 40 years, we're more excited than ever about what's in store, and feel that we're just getting started!

This project is looking so good, and the finish line is in sight!
It’s Friday and we are back with a Site HQ update! 🎉 The team(s) have been hard at work 🔨 bringing our new office and studio space to life! It is exciting to see how we are getting closer (and closer) to officially moving in! 🗓️ This update brings a lot. 🎥 With new exterior windows + skylights, our entire space looks brighter - and ready for big ideas and creative campaigns. Our infinity wall for our studio space is nearing completion, and our risers are finished! (Bonus: The slide 🛝 is ready to go and is officially tested!). Through in our new staircase and lobby area - and a lot of progress is in motion. With exterior painting happening this week and "finishing" in full swing - the next update is going to be a fun one! 🚧 Looking forward to having SitePartners, SiteTechnology, SiteNews and all our other brands and partners in one amazing space! Past + Present. Kenorah's president Jake Kostelyk and Kenorah's founder Ken Sawatzky. Last night, Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) celebrated their 50th anniversary, and Kenorah's founder Ken Sawatzky was invited to attend. Ken was a titan in this custom residential industry in his day. He was a driving force behind the Georgie Awards. He pioneered R2000 high performance homes long before the "green home" revolution caught on. He served as Homebuilders Association Vancouver (HAVAN) chair the Vancouver, Provincial and Federal Level. It was great to catch up, and enjoy a great night of swapping stories of Kenorah nearly 50 years ago, versus Kenorah now. Things were sure different then, but there are many similarities that still stand; focus on quality, do the right thing, and treat your clients and staff well.

Within the next few weeks, demolition of the existing home will be completed, and this beautiful, multi-generational, high performance home will be starting construction in #vancouver. We've been working with our clients to from the very beginning of the design stage, to ensure this home looks (and performs) exactly as they're hoping for. We're thrilled to be kicking off not one, but TWO projects in Powell River! We'll be building a beautiful dental practice, as well as another Noodlebox Canada location. This stunning coastal town is growing rapidly. We can't wait to provide these two new spaces, which we know will be a small part of making this beautiful town that much nicer to live in!

Everything you need to know about SiteHQ—our new office and Canada’s first specialized industrial studio 👇 The first thing we noticed about the space was the open concept and natural light. Its industrial history as a glass company was a bonus. Our design retains some unique features from its past, including an expansive glass wall in the lobby and cafe area that once functioned as a showroom. We’ve transformed the warehouse from a black insular box into a light-filled open workspace and production studio with meeting rooms and a wooden riser seating area as a centrepiece.
