About us
KidSafe keeps schools open during winter, spring and summer breaks, providing a nurturing safe haven for over 450 elementary students in Vancouver. KidSafe children benefit from healthy meals, learning programs (literacy, science, gardening), leadership development and recreational opportunities in their own schools, free of charge. Children who participate in KidSafe are referred by their principals, teachers, social workers and parents.

Our friends at @DoorDashImpact have generously provided KidSafe with $10,000 worth of Community Credits. These credits will be distributed across all of our programs at KidSafe. Thanks to this partnership, we can ensure that every child who benefits from our programs receives a nutritious breakfast, lunch, unlimited snacks, and when possible, take-home groceries for their families. We also place great importance on nutrition education as a key component of our food programs!
