Each season, the Kitchener Rangers have paid tribute to those who have been a part of the Canadian Forces by wearing commemorative jerseys. The 2024 edition of the Rangers Remembrance Day Jersey pays tribute to the 80th Anniversary of The Battle of Normandy, better known as D-Day (June 6th, 1944). The Rangers will showcase these jerseys at The Aud on November 8th at 7:00 p.m. when they take on the SOO Greyhounds. Fans can place bids to purchase these special one-of-a-kind jerseys through a silent auction that runs throughout the game. Fans not attending the game can also bid on five of the Remembrance Day Jerseys online through DASH. The auction opens online on Friday and will run until Sunday, November 10th. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the 78th Fraser Highlanders Fort Conestoga Garrison and the Kitchener-Waterloo Poppy Fund through Rangers Reach. Since its inception, the commemorative jersey auction has raised over $350,000 for its beneficiaries.
It’s always fun to design jerseys for the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club but it’s extra special and an honour to do it for the Annual Remembrance Day Game! Major props to the whole team who support this cause every year and to the fans who have donated over $350,000 to local military charities. Extra props to Danny Lebold who makes these ice/ auction ready every season. Bid on these tonight; https://lnkd.in/gnM8a4mi?

The force was with us last night! The Rangers claimed a 4-2 win on Star Wars Night at The Aud. A BIG thank you to the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion Canada, and Mando Mercs Costume Club for helping make this a special night! The Rangers are now 7-2-1-1, sitting in second place in the OHL's Western Conference! The Blueshirts' next action is Friday, October 25, when they take on the Erie Otters. 🎟️https://lnkd.in/ez9TyaFy 📸Tiffany Luke

Superfeet Worldwide is proud to partner with the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club. This is our first-ever appearance in a sports arena. The ribbon board branding looks incredible, and we’re proud to be part of this game-day experience. This year has been one of tremendous growth for me in sports partnerships. It’s exciting to see all the activations come together and explore new ways to grow the Superfeet brand through teams, leagues, and athletes. #BrandPartnerships #Partnerships #SportsPerformance

On Friday Night, we unveiled an exciting partnership as part of the OHL’s new jersey patch program. We've partnered with the George family to honour Eugene George's legacy by featuring his initials and the Rangers' founding year on our jerseys. In 1963, Eugene George, a local Kitchener businessmen acquired the Guelph Royals, renaming them the Kitchener Rangers Junior “A” Hockey Club. After the New York Rangers’ sponsorship ended in 1967, George bought the team for one dollar and transitioned it to a not-for-profit organization to keep it community-focused and dedicated to developing young talent. Today, as per Eugene’s wishes, the team operates without a sole owner. We are grateful for the continued support of the George family, and proud to wear this special patch on our home, away, and alternate jerseys.
