As part of Lifting Solutions' tenth anniversary celebrations, we're excited to feature Lonnie Dunn, our Engineering and Manufacturing Vice President. Lonnie joined us in October 2016, transitioning from a large oil service company to our dynamic start-up. This change offered him the ability to operate in a nimble and creative environment where it was possible to transform ideas into reality in short order. Lonnie led the development of our PC Pump manufacturing facility and product line, achieving success in the competitive Canadian market and international expansion. He also led the team that advanced our Endless Rod product line, including developing the KeBond coated rod. “These eight years have been career highlights thanks to new opportunities, incredible colleagues, and our achievements. Worried about sand settling in the inactive sections of our PivotAL PCP during pump operation? Don't be! The continuous flow of fluid from the active sections ensures that the fluid emulsion continuously moves through the inactive sections. Although the PivotAL is longer than a conventional PCP, the inactive sections do not add frictional torque between the rotor and stator in the presence of sand. We have PivotAL PCP’s operating successfully in new well completions where the sand influx during the initial cleanup phase is high – applications ranging from 5 to 10% sand.
