European Parliament has announced 2 new amendments in Regulation (EU) 2021/694 (Cyber Solidarity Act) for Union-wide coordinated approach to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure. The deployment of an EU infrastructure of Security Operation Centres (SOCs), supporting gradual building of an EU-level cyber reserve with services from trusted private providers and testing of critical entities for potential vulnerabilities based on EU risk assessments. As part of the European Cybersecurity Alert System, a number of Cross-Border Cyber Hubs will be established.
