2024 was a banner year for Maritime Resources, marked by significant milestones propelling us toward an exciting 2025. 📝 Hammerdown Project Permitting: All major project permitting completed for the Hammerdown Gold Project, one of North America’s highest grade open pit development projects. 💰 $8M Rights Offering: Successfully closed an $8 million rights offering, strongly supported by our major shareholder Dundee Corporation who increased their ownership to 43%. 👷♂️ Pine Cove Mill Recommissioning: Initiated work and hiring at the Pine Cove Mill to restart processing operations and prepare for future production from Hammerdown. 🍁 Strategic Investment by FireFly Metals: Secured a strategic investment from FireFly Metals, a major copper-gold developer in the Baie Verte mining district and our neighbour at both Pine Cove and Hammerdown. 🪙 Record Gold Prices Setting The Stage: With gold touching nearly US$2,800 per oz (CDN $3,800 per oz), our timing couldn’t be better to develop Hammerdown and continue exploring our highly prospective 450 km2 property for gold and critical metals like copper and zinc. We are very grateful to our dedicated team for enabling these significant strides and to our shareholders for their continued support throughout this last year. #gold #NewfoundlandandLabrador #Hammerdown #Maritime

HIGH GRADE DEVELOPMENT & EXPLORATION Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada
About us
Maritime Resources controls a number of highly prospective gold exploration projects including Green Bay, Whisker Valley, and Gull Ridge. These properties are strategically located on the Baie Verte and Springdale Peninsulas, a prolific gold and base metals mining district. This region hosts 15 past producing base metal and gold mines, 2 currently producing mines and 371 significant gold and base metal prospects. Despite the rich mineral endowment exemplified in this region, mineral exploration efforts in the past have been localized and sporadic in nature.

📢 Maritime begins crushing at Pine Cove Mill! “The team at Pine Cove have made tremendous progress preparing the mill for the restart of processing operations, beginning with the mineralized stockpiles that we have identified at the Point Rousse project site. Crushing operations have commenced and work inside the mill continues. We are aiming to safely and efficiently restart the gold circuit in January 2025,” comments Garett Macdonald, President and CEO. 📢 Exciting new developments at Hammerdown! Our recent trenching program at the Hammerdown Gold Project has successfully exposed near-surface high grade gold mineralization adjacent to the historic bulk sample area. “It’s very encouraging to see grades like this exposed on surface at Hammerdown where the impressive continuity of these vein systems is evident, especially the O-Vein with 45m of strike length grading 49 gpt Au over 0.4m.” comments Garett Macdonald, CEO and President. The Maritime Resources Corp. team participated in the 2024 Mineral Resources Review conference in St. John’s earlier this month, an event that saw a record-breaking number of attendees (+1,000). It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge with industry peers, government representatives, and students about the exciting potential of our Hammerdown Gold Project. Maritime’s CEO, Garett Macdonald, delivered a presentation titled Near-Term Cash Flow in the Baie Verte Mining District, while Senior Project Geologist Jason Flight, (P. Geo) highlighted the exploration opportunities at our Green Bay and Whisker Valley Gold Projects. The conference was abuzz with enthusiasm about the province’s mining industry, which continues to attract global attention and significant investment. #MRR2024 #MaritimeResources #Hammerdown #gold #NewfoundlandandLabrador

Work has begun at our Pine Cove gold mill in Newfoundland and Labrador. Maritime is one of the only near-term cash flow stories in the market – high grade gold reserves, permits in place, two processing facilities and exploration upside in a top tier jurisdiction – all of this with gold hitting all time highs. More updates coming soon. #gold #newfoundlandandlabrador https://lnkd.in/ekFGMtEu

During last week's annual Baie Verte Mining Conference we very fortunate to have the first ever class of CNA's new Mining Engineering Technician program join us for event presentations and networking. We were also super excited to provide them with a tour of Maritime's Pine Cove property. Our Maritime team could certainly feel the eagerness and enthusiasm from this awesome group of students, who we know will integrate well as young industry professionals. This kind of talent is what we require to keep mining great in our province. Thank you Ken Wheeler, Nathaniel Noel and Marie OKeefe for making this happen! Best of luck to this class in the remainder of their program. We hope to see you soon.
