never in my life i've felt proud of where I work. i never really cared. what i saw when i entered the workforce was an industry that no longer was loyal to its workers. i saw how my dad struggled to find a new job for the longest time after he was let go from a company where he worked for decades that slowly started treating him like 💩 as others in my generation, i said "if they don't care, why should i?" however, i still held a small glimpse of hope that i would eventually find spaces where i felt constant joy, fulfillment, creative and appreciated. as the year starts, i can't help but feel immensely grateful that Tessa gave me a chance to be part of a space i longed for. 🌱 so this is my formal resignation. looollll nooo! i just wanted to publicly say that i love my job. i'm filled with the biggest pride. i went back home for holidays and people kept asking me 'what i'm up to' and that has turned into my favourite question [because i get to brag about my boss and my team]. ❤️ thank you to all the lovely people at Marr Media Group for being part of the back half of my 2024! i admire you all like crazy. please, don't fire me 😬 and for those who are still looking for that space, stay hopeful and creative! i promise it will happen for you.

Meet Amanda, one of our amazing account managers who’s lived in at least 5 different cities (yes, she’s got the stories to prove it). From Toronto to Ottawa and even a year-long adventure in Hamilton, Bermuda, she now lives in the small town in Newfoundland where she grew up. Amanda’s competitive streak? Strong. Do we love it? ABSOLUTELY! After playing softball, basketball, and volleyball growing up, she still feels right at home on the court. She’s part of a senior ladies' volleyball league—and yes, she takes it very seriously. 🏐 Another fun fact!
