The company aim is to 'Elevate the paint and coatings Industry through standards, guides and training' Standards: MPI sets paint and coatings standards, then tests the products at the request on the manufacturers to ensure they meet the quality standards required by the industry. The MPI APL (Approved Product List) is vital for obtaining information on quality coatings and coating systems. The Master Painters Institute website (www.mpi.net) includes information for professional coating specifiers, architects, designers, property managers, painters and applicators. Featured are 'Caution Notes' for the industry, which are explanations of coatings and substrate failures and the importance of standards. The Master Painters Institute Training program is one of the most comprehensive paint and coatings training programs in the industry.
