Reinventing office snacking with healthy snacks & beverages to motivate teams and improve employee wellness.

About us

Mindful Snacks specializes in workplace wellness through boosting employee benefits with healthy snacks and beverages in the office. We have our full service team deliver, set-up and display snacks and drinks, clean your kitchen area, track and record inventory, and manage re-orders. Our Story: Mindful Snacks started off as a revolutionary idea that grew to an insatiable passion. It began when we would hear office managers tell stories about having to take matters into their own hands when it came to shopping, stocking up and cleaning up. We came across many unhappy people. We also knew successful corporations are taking employee’s health much more seriously. So our movement began... Mindful Snacks is here to revolutionize your idea of what an office snack provider should do for you and your office.

Updates

  • The spirit of the holidays inspires us to give back and make a difference, especially here, at Mindful Snacks. We're committed to reducing food wastage and ensuring that excess food doesn’t end up in landfills, especially during this season of sharing. That’s why every week, we donate unsold food to the Food Banks Mississauga, supporting local families and spreading holiday festivities to those who need it most.    During the pandemic, we faced unprecedented challenges with food wastage, as many of our accounts saw an increase in unused stock. But we turned this obstacle into a solution by collecting and donating these snacks to food banks, helping to combat hunger when it was needed the most.    Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond food. We’re actively working towards eliminating single-use plastics in our packaging, opting for glass and aluminium alternatives that are better for the environment. Additionally, we are proud to work with Canadian-owned and local brands, providing our customers with the highest quality snacks and organic produce, including staples like bananas, apples, and oranges sourced from local farmers.

  • Huge news!   (Read here: https://lnkd.in/gxK-VNj4) This announcement highlights how food companies like Campbell's and KIND are increasingly turning to partnerships and government support to boost regenerative agriculture within their supply chains. Both companies are working with the USDA and other organizations to promote sustainable practices that improve soil health, reduce water usage, and enhance resilience among key suppliers, especially those affected by climate change.   Lundberg Family Farms is a pioneer in this space, especially in sustainable rice farming. Through regenerative techniques like crop rotation, reduced tillage, and the preservation of wetland ecosystems, Lundberg is building resilient, biodiverse farming systems that improve soil health and water quality. By integrating rice paddies with natural habitats for waterfowl and microorganisms, Lundberg sets a high standard, influencing other rice and grain producers to adopt more sustainable practices.   These initiatives are part of a broader movement within the food industry, where major companies are committing to sustainable sourcing and leveraging government partnerships to support environmental goals. Both Campbell and Kind have ambitious targets: Campbell aims to cut water usage, while Kind intends to source 100% of its almonds from regenerative farms by 2030. This industry-wide push is crucial as companies respond to climate change and strengthen their supply chains for the future.   PS. We like this new Mini Rice Cake packaging that highlights regenerative organic rice!

  • We recently partnered with HeyMooMoo for a successful bubble tea pop-up event tailored for a corporate client. The collaboration aimed to welcome the employees back to the office after a prolonged remote work period. HeyMooMoo is known their menu featuring their signature bubble teas, known for lower sugar content and high-quality ingredients. The pop-up was set up in a lively area of the office, designed to encourage social interaction and excitement. The event was a hit! Everyone loved the interactive setup and the chance to customize their drinks. • Partnering with coffee roasters who prioritize Fairtrade practices is about much more than just where you source your beans. It’s a reflection of the values you want your business to stand for. When you work with roasters who are committed to Fairtrade, you're supporting something bigger than a transaction—you're contributing to fair wages, better working conditions, and sustainable farming practices in coffee-growing regions. Think about it: coffee is one of the most traded commodities in the world, and the people growing it often face harsh conditions and unfair pay. Fairtrade certification helps ensure these farmers are compensated fairly for their hard work, creating opportunities for them and their communities to thrive. Plus, Fairtrade encourages eco-friendly farming methods, which is a big win in today’s push for sustainability. For businesses, aligning with Fairtrade roasters, such as Reunion Coffee Roasters is a way to show your customers that you care about where your products come from and the impact they have. It builds trust, loyalty, and gives people another reason to support you. In an age where more consumers want to spend their money on ethical products, having these partnerships can set you apart. After all, every cup of coffee tells a story—shouldn't yours be one of fairness, sustainability, and doing the right thing? Fairtrade International Fairtrade Canada #wearefairtrade
