Mino Care is proud to present the Pain Log Diary, a crutial tool to help you understand your menstrual cycle by documenting your period and chronic pelvic pain. Often, Black women suffer from severe period and pelvic pain without ever seeking medical help–even when that pain is indicating that there is an underlying issue that requires attention. Chronic, severe, and debiltating pain during the menstrual cycle is not normal. If you or anyone you know is suffering from period and pelvic pain during the menstrual cycle, we urge you to utilize the Pain Log Diary and share across your network, and with family and friends. And always seek the advice and attention of your doctor or care provider. To view and download the Pain Log book visit the project page on our website: https://lnkd.in/gb-2zMnN #endometriosis; #paindiary; #periodcycle; #periodpain; #sogc; #healthcanada; #minocare

Our campaign in partnership with the The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada continues! As simple as it sounds, talking about endometriosis and sharing our experiences with one another is a powerful way to break through the barriers of dismissal, misdiagnosis, and mistreatment that many Black people face in Canada. By speaking out, we raise awareness, validate our experiences, and push for systemic changes in healthcare. Together, our voices can help improve recognition and care for endometriosis. Reach out for the support and care you deserve! #womenshealth; #blackwomenhealth; #endometriosis; #periodpain; #sogc #healthcanada; #minocare

Your voice and opinion matters, especially when it comes to your health and wellbeing. If you ever feel as though your diagnosis is not quite right or has left with you more questions than answers, don't hesitate to let your care provider know. It's important to understand your symptoms and receive the appropriate evaluation, such as imaging tests like ultrasound or MRI, which may help identify signs of endometriosis. By advocating for yourself, you ensure that you're on the path to receiving the right treatment. #endometriosis; #advocacy; #womenshealth; #healthcanada; #sogc; #minocare #periodpain

Mino Care has partnered and collaborated with The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada to create an endometriosis awareness campaign for the African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) community of Canada. Endometriosis is a serious, chronic disease that is associated with severe pain, especially during menstrual periods. It can also reduce a person's ability to conceive. People who have endometriosis symptoms can experience significant delays in diagnoses and accessing care due to limited awareness and because its symptoms often mimic those of other conditions. Over the next 7 days, Mino Care will dedicate our socials to the campaign as we advocate, share helpful resources, and debut our latest podcast episode to spread awareness for endometriosis within the ACB community across Canada. Stay tuned for more & visit our website (https://lnkd.in/gb-2zMnN) to see the full campaign! #womenshealth; #blackwomenhealth; #endometriosis; #periodpain; #sogc; #healthcanada; #minocare
