Mommy Monitor is now Mino Care. We are the country’s leading virtual perinatal health centre for Black parents. For 7 years, we’ve been prioritizing two things: 1️⃣ Providing culturally-safe and anti-racist care that empowers parents to make the right choices for their pregnancy. 2️⃣ Bringing practitioners, parents, and researchers together to drive innovation in perinatal care. With this rebrand, we’ll continue to do this work—growing even further. To learn more, visit our new website. Unfortunately, many Black women's cases are dismissed when inquiring about the effects of endometriosis. Did you know that endometriosis is one of the leading causes of infertility in Black women? Don't be afraid to let your voice be heard and ask the questions that you need answers to. Mino Care is proud to present the Pain Log Diary, a crutial tool to help you understand your menstrual cycle by documenting your period and chronic pelvic pain. Often, Black women suffer from severe period and pelvic pain without ever seeking medical help–even when that pain is indicating that there is an underlying issue that requires attention. Chronic, severe, and debiltating pain during the menstrual cycle is not normal. If you or anyone you know is suffering from period and pelvic pain during the menstrual cycle, we urge you to utilize the Pain Log Diary and share across your network, and with family and friends. And always seek the advice and attention of your doctor or care provider. To view and download the Pain Log book visit the project page on our website: https://lnkd.in/gb-2zMnN #endometriosis; #paindiary; #periodcycle; #periodpain; #sogc; #healthcanada; #minocare

Our campaign in partnership with the The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada continues! As simple as it sounds, talking about endometriosis and sharing our experiences with one another is a powerful way to break through the barriers of dismissal, misdiagnosis, and mistreatment that many Black people face in Canada. By speaking out, we raise awareness, validate our experiences, and push for systemic changes in healthcare. Together, our voices can help improve recognition and care for endometriosis. Reach out for the support and care you deserve! #womenshealth; #blackwomenhealth; #endometriosis; #periodpain; #sogc #healthcanada; #minocare
