With paint dry, remove paint shields from mud rings to reveal clean, dust- and paint-free junction boxes. Wire in your switches, outlets or other accessory devices, screw into place and snap on the magnetic CONCEAL™ cover plates. CONCEAL™ paint shields make this easy by keeping paint out of the junction box so you can just spray or roller your walls with ease. With drywall hung and mud rings installed, it's time to tape and mud all seams. Use either Synko Concrete Fill drywall compound, which is fibre reinforced, or traditional joint compound and reinforcing tape to adhere the mud ring flange to the surface of the wall and feather the edges for a smooth, seamless look. CONCEAL™ mud rings have a raised edge to control the drywall compound thickness and the included cardboard inserts mean you don't have to be careful around the opening since they take care of keeping the junction box wiring clean and mud-free. #FlushMounting #ModenaCONCEAL #MinimalistHome #SeamlessDesign

Mud rings secure to CONCEAL™ junction boxes with a pair of provided screws to hold them securely in place during the drywall mudding stages. They also come with cardboard inserts to prevent mud, dust and paint from getting inside during drywall finishing. This keeps the junction box wiring clean and avoids the typical messy clean-up.
