  • Council is excited to announce the appointment of Tyson Cragg as the new Chief Administrative Officer, beginning January 14. “Tyson's vision and leadership align perfectly with our strategic goals and the work that lies ahead. We look forward to the impact he will have on our team and our communities,” said Mayor Tracey Bailey . Since 2020, Tyson has served as Executive Director of Transit Windsor for the City of Windsor. He has also served on the Board of Directors of both the Canadian Urban Transit Association and the Ontario Public Transit Association. In addition to his professional experience, Tyson also holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (HBA) degree in Political Science from the University of Windsor, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Western Ontario.   • 📰 On Friday November 15, 2024, the Belle River-Rochester Goodfellows and their volunteers (including Lakeshore firefighters) will hit the streets for one day only with their newspaper fundraising campaign! 📰 Each year the initiative raises funds for food baskets which are delivered to local families and individuals in need.   • Lakeshore Town Hall renovations are coming up! ‼️ While the building will be closed for a period of time, the Municipality of Lakeshore will continue to provide the same high-quality, in-person service that you are used to. When renovations start, all Town Hall services will be temporarily moved to: 🔵 Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (447 Renaud Line Rd, Belle River, ON) 🔵 Services will be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Town Hall renovation rack cards with more information will be mailed out in upcoming water bills or can be picked up at Town Hall or the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre. They also issue bills for municipal services, including taxes and water, and collect payments for licenses and permits.
