At the #SpecialtyPharmacySummit, the Technology Toolbox session brought together an expert panel of tech-savvy leaders: Jeff Wandzura, Nicholas Hui, Ramy El-Kholi, and Shelley L. Burnett who shared how technology can transform patient care and pharmacy workflows. 💡💻 A "10-star" 🌟 experience means anticipating patient needs and delivering personalized, seamless care. Effective technology tools simplify workflows, connect patient data, and create meaningful first touchpoints. As one panelist noted, "You can be something, but you can't be everything—so start picking your something." By focusing on what matters most, specialty pharmacies can leverage technology to bridge gaps, reduce complexity, and meet patients where they are. 🌐💊 #TechnologyInPharmacy #SpecialtyPharmacy #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation #FutureOfPharmacy

📉 Specialty Pharmacy is evolving, but challenges remain. This morning at the #SpecialtyPharmacySummit, Jeff Mehltretter shared valuable insights on funding options that support the delivery of specialty services. Jeff explored how 1️⃣ virtual services are creating new billing opportunities for pharmacists, 2️⃣ the low margins in specialty pharmacy make it particularly vulnerable to price shocks, and 3️⃣ while service delivery can help mitigate these vulnerabilities, it cannot fully replace the role of traditional markups. An insightful session that sparked important discussions on balancing care delivery with financial sustainability. #PharmacyCare #SpecialtyPharmacy #HealthInnovation
