🎉 64 Hours of Innovation, Redbull, and Non-Stop Creativity! 🎉 My first-ever hackathon, NatHacks 2024, was nothing short of incredible! While chugging cans of Redbull and sneaking slices of pizza fueled the fun, the real highlight was the chance to collaborate, innovate, and bring a neuroscience-driven idea to life. Our project, aMuse: Consultant Assistant, is a groundbreaking platform designed to analyze brain activity and provide actionable insights for consultants in marketing and strategy. 🧠 Key Features: Real-Time EEG Data Integration: Using the Muse S headband, we collected and analyzed brain activity during marketing strategy sessions. The data was processed through the aMuse app, which measures levels of engagement among participants. Actionable Reports: User-friendly, evidence-backed insights empower consultants to adapt strategies and make strong recommendations, optimizing their approach based on cognitive patterns. Potential Applications: Ideal for consultants, educators, and researchers, aMuse offers insights into cognitive responses across marketing mediums, from social media ads to TV campaigns and even posters! 💡 Why It Matters: Understanding how people think and feel in response to marketing strategies is a game-changer. With tools like aMuse, consultants can craft campaigns that truly connect with their audience, delivering measurable impact and better engagement. 🚀 Next Steps: This is just the beginning! We’re excited to refine and expand aMuse, including exploring its potential in rehabilitation. By analyzing brain activity, the app could track recovery progress and support therapeutic interventions—paving the way for even broader applications. 🔗 Check out the full project here: https://lnkd.in/gvR6BGHm 🙌 Acknowledgments: A huge thank you to NeurAlbertaTech for organizing this incredible event and fostering a space for innovation and learning.
