Today, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, we remember the tragedy at École Polytechnique, all who have experienced gender-based violence, and those we have lost to it. At 11 a.m., please join us in a moment of silence to honour their memory and recommit to action. Displays across campus commemorate the 14 women from École Polytechnique, and offer resources and white memorial ribbons to wear. #EndGBV

Brendan Boyd and I wrote an opinion piece about climate policy and urban wellness for the Edmonton Journal. There are many links at the municipal level between climate policy and enhanced urban wellbeing. We need to show support for those policies for ourselves. https://lnkd.in/gWcP_r3H MacEwan University Office of Research Services, MacEwan University MacEwan University, Faculty of Arts and Science Research Institute for Urban Wellness
